Membership Forms

Note that the membership forms on the right are the official Archery Ireland forms, so they only refer to the AI portion of fees due.  To keep paperwork to a minimum, we do not use duplicate forms to cover the club fees, as shown above.  So, when completing forms, please select the categories that apply to you and submit the total amount.  Ashbourne Archers will forward the AI portion to AI on your behalf and issue you with a receipt for the full amount.

Entry to Archery Course

Ashbourne Archers holds Entry to Archery courses. These courses are held at Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA club on Tuesday evenings, starting at 20:30 sharp, subject to seasonal access to the facility.

The course runs for six weeks and covers all of the basic principles of archery. The course costs €90 for adults and €70 for juniors and students and includes shooting fees.

All equipment is provided for the duration of the course and is covered by the cost of the course.

Advice is given to participants on the correct equipment suited to them individually, should they wish to continue in the sport and purchase their own equipment.

Voluntary Nature of the Club

Ashbourne Archers relies completely on volunteers – there are no paid staff within our structure. All the coaches and officers in the club give their time freely. All the money that goes into the club is used to pay the clubs expenses which include: Rent of facilities; Archery Ireland affiliation; club equipment (purchase, repair and replacement) and day-to-day running-costs.
